From Xerokrini
to three divisions.
Georgios Konstantinidis founds METECO in Xerokrini, Thessaloniki, as a metal recycling business — investing in processing technology from day one.
METECO joins the Bureau of International Recycling (BIR), placing it inside an international network of recycling businesses.
A new identity, "Welcome Waste," reflects what METECO had already become: three divisions and three operating brands.
Metals, Cars and Technologies — plus autoLoop, OMNIWORK and METECO TECH — operate from Thessaloniki and Athens, ISO certified.
